Who I am

Former journalist, focused on writing.

Master of Arts from Hamburg, Germany.

Avid traveler, including trips to Japan, Africa, a LOT of Europe, Mexico and Brazil as well as about half of the 50 US states.

Honestly, some of my favorite weddings were captured right in Buffalo. But I loved going to Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Germany and Florida, Connecticut and Ohio for some.

What I love

Going on a road trip with friends.

Exploring State, National Parks and new cities.

Instruments, mostly piano, guitar and synthesizer.

Climbing.

Lifting weights.

  • Well over 300.

  • I still haven’t found any other type of photography that is more fun. You do everything from documenting, candids, products, portraits. Usually you enjoy a ton of freedom throughout the day in terms of how you capture it.

  • Weddings are heavily based on tradition. How the day is structured, what the ceremony includes, what is part of the reception is very often similar. What varies the most is the people. So I wouldn't worry too much about making everything about the wedding unique since your guests, their conversations, their experience, their outfits will make difference every time.
