Wedding in Buffalo, NY

One of the things I love about Buffalo is the Niagara River. I love to be able to see Canada being just at the other side of the river. Last month I got lucky and photographed an amazing and laid-back couple that choosed Niawanda Park for their reception. My favorite moment of the day was probably the shoot right after sunset. 

Wedding of Nihada + Michael in Rochester, NY

This wedding was special for me since it was my first booking in the US after receiving my green card. I needed it for my own mindset to be able to start all over again on a new continent. I had done lots of weddings by myself so I was comfortable with it. But it is different to start as a new business in a new country. So I was very happy that Nihada trusted me even I was knew in the area and told her I had to leave the US for six weeks to cover weddings in Germany before her wedding. She was extremely laid back on her wedding day and easy to work with. I didn't have a chance to meet her groom Michael before, but he couldn't have been more friendly to me. Thanks for being such an amazing couple on your wedding day! It was awesome to be part of it! The people working at The Whittier Party House were also very helpful. They even gave me a heads-up before the cake cutting and made sure I was at a good angle before they started.
